From 9 to noon volunteers will plant wildflowers, remove invasive plants, pick up twigs, prune,and do other maintenance as needed. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, and bring your own garden tools including gloves and pruners.

 

The Kile Oak is a 300-400 year old Bur Oak. Its garden, located at 5939 Beechwood Ave, is a registered wildlife habitat site and is planted with over 60 species of native Indiana wildflowers, ferns, and grasses.
